10.4.3 External Access to S3 Bucket

In order for the bucket to be used with the builds process you will need to allow external access to it. Although there are many ways to do this, I would recommend a cloudfront instance.

To create a cloudfront instance go here.

From there click ‘create distribution’.

On the distribution page select your S3 bucket as the origin domain. I would recommend enabling security and any other recommended settings. From there you will receive your ‘Distribution domain name’. This is the “external prefix” you will use in the CCLI.
